We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Temecula, California. This role involves supporting various accounting functions within the construction industry, requiring a keen attention to detail and familiarity with Sage 300 software. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Post deposits and manage journal entries with precision and timeliness. • Process invoices, issue checks, and handle accounts payable tasks. • Assist with property tax payments and tenant billing management. • Support the filing of Form 3522 and ensure timely submissions. • Reconcile financial statements and provide light reporting as needed. • Maintain organized records for accounts payable and related documents. • Provide administrative assistance for project management activities. • Monitor promissory notes and entity agreements to ensure compliance. • Utilize Sage 300 software for construction accounting tasks and reporting.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. • Proficiency in Sage 300 software is essential. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, general ledger, and accounts receivable processes. • Demonstrated experience with journal entries and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with residential construction accounting practices. • Ability to manage financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
