This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who values mission-driven work and is eager to support causes that make a difference.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards</li><li>Process journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and support monthly and year-end closing procedures</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts and monitor grant funding allocations</li><li>Prepare financial statements, reports, and grant-specific reporting for management and board review</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis</li><li>Support annual audits by providing timely and accurate documentation</li><li>Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements for nonprofit organizations</li><li>Collaborate with program staff to monitor expenses, resolve discrepancies, and educate on financial policies</li></ul><p><br></p>
