Robert Half is partnering with a fast-growing, technology-driven organization to identify a Senior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role will support core accounting operations with a strong emphasis on technical accounting, revenue recognition, and month-end close within a SaaS or subscription-based environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys owning key processes, partnering cross-functionally, and contributing to scalable best practices as the company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support the full revenue accounting lifecycle, including contract review, performance obligation analysis, and deferred revenue tracking in accordance with ASC 606</li><li>Maintain and account for deferred contract costs under ASC 340-40, including capitalization and amortization of sales commissions</li><li>Own critical components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting</li><li>Prepare and review complex journal entries and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations for revenue-related and accrual accounts</li><li>Assist with financial statement preparation and provide audit support, including schedules, documentation, and variance explanations</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting efficiency</li></ul>

Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field</li><li>CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred</li><li>4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting exposure plus industry experience is a plus</li><li>Proven experience applying ASC 606 and ASC 340-40 within a SaaS or subscription-based business</li><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting concepts</li><li>Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems; exposure to Salesforce and commission tools is a plus</li><li>Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate accounting concepts clearly to non-finance partners</li></ul>Why This Role:<ul><li>Temp-to-hire pathway with long-term growth potential</li><li>Exposure to a modern, tech-forward accounting environment</li><li>Opportunity to make an immediate impact while helping scale accounting operations</li></ul>Robert Half works to put you in the best position to succeed.
