We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. In this role, you will oversee and manage payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. This is a long-term contract position, offering a great opportunity to contribute your expertise in payroll management. Responsibilities:• Manage full-cycle payroll operations, including processing, auditing, and reporting.• Oversee multi-state payroll functions to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.• Coordinate bi-monthly payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees.• Implement and enforce payroll policies to ensure consistency and compliance.• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.• Handle payroll data for multiple platforms, including UKG Pro and Workday Payroll.• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of payroll tax filings and other required documentation.• Train and mentor payroll staff to enhance performance and efficiency.

• Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll operations. • Expertise in handling multi-state payroll processes. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems. • Familiarity with bi-monthly payroll procedures for large organizations. • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws. • Experience managing payroll for over 500 employees. • Proficiency in using platforms like UKG Pro and Workday Payroll. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
