Operations Specialist
<p>We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team on a Contract to permanent employment basis in Suwanee, Georgia. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day functions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing executive-level tasks, coordinating projects, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring confidentiality and efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Review, process, and track student applications using the SLATE CRM system</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential student records, entering and updating data in SLATE</li><li>Communicate professionally with prospective students, applicants, families, and campus partners via email, phone, and in-person</li><li>Generate and analyze reports in SLATE to support recruitment and admissions strategies</li><li>Assist in the evaluation and resolution of application status questions, missing documentation, and eligibility issues</li><li>Support admissions events, campus visits, information sessions, and virtual programming</li><li>Collaborate with admissions counselors, IT, and other university departments to optimize SLATE workflows and troubleshoot issues</li><li>Stay current on SLATE updates and best practices; participate in training as needed</li><li>Contribute to continuous process improvements within the admissions team</li></ul><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred</li><li>At least 1 year of experience in university admissions or student services, with direct experience using SLATE CRM required</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new technology tools</li><li>Customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li></ul><p><br></p>
