Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing (Springfield Area) Join a growing aerospace manufacturer with ambitious plans for the next five years. We’re seeking a motivated, hands-on Quality Manager to lead our small quality team, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Role Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day activities of the quality department and team of 3-5 staff members</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries & quality issues; act as quality point-of-contact</li><li>Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams on quality initiatives</li><li>Oversee inspection processes, gage control, and calibration</li><li>Ensure full compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards</li><li>Lead internal and external audits</li><li>Conduct/oversee Inspections</li><li>Execute root cause corrective actions</li><li>Interact with various customer portals</li><li>Review and interpret balloon blueprints/specs as needed</li><li>Develop and update work procedures</li><li>Perform customer contract reviews</li><li>Assist with hands-on inspection/measuring of in-process parts; support overflow as needed</li><li>Daily interface with outside service providers and customers</li><li>Maintain accurate records and verify outside vendor/service documentation (certs, materials)</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Aerospace manufacturing background is required</li><li>Experience in a small to mid-sized aerospace manufacturing environment </li><li>Previous management experience, strong leadership & motivation skills</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused company</li></ul> To apply, submit your resume directly here or email: Kelsey.Ryan@roberthalf(.com)Ready to lead the next stage of growth and quality excellence?
