Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Shoreline, Washington. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in accounting who are eager to contribute to a variety of financial operations. If you have a passion for accuracy and efficiency, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and paid in a timely manner.<br>• Oversee purchasing activities, including the review and approval of purchase orders.<br>• Perform reconciliations of financial accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze financial spreadsheets and reports.<br>• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.<br>• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and workflows.<br>• Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or related role.<br>• Proficiency in accounts payable processes and purchasing activities.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.<br>• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.<br>• Familiarity with financial reconciliations and contract management.
