We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will manage payroll processes for a diverse workforce, ensuring timely and accurate compensation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in payroll systems and multi-state operations. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro to manage payroll operations effectively. • Handle payroll for over 500 employees, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, providing excellent customer service to employees. • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll integration. • Prepare and review payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. • Assist in onboarding and training related to payroll processes for new hires. • Implement and improve payroll workflows to enhance efficiency. • Manage biweekly payroll cycles with precision and adherence to deadlines.

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro systems. • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and practices. • Ability to handle payroll for large employee groups of over 500 individuals. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with payroll compliance laws and reporting requirements. • Effective communication skills to address payroll inquiries and collaborate with teams. • Ability to work onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona, with potential for remote work after training.
