We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes while adhering to established policies and procedures. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining financial integrity. Responsibilities:• Process and verify vendor invoices, including performing three-way matching for purchase order-related invoices.• Collaborate with the Purchasing team to address and resolve discrepancies in invoice matching.• Ensure non-purchase order invoices are properly approved and entered into the financial system for payment.• Investigate and resolve invoice-related issues with plant locations and other departments.• Prepare journal entries and complete reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as part of month-end close activities.• Scan and attach invoices to the system for streamlined record-keeping.• Respond to inquiries from internal departments and plant locations regarding accounts payable and general ledger accounts.• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure alignment with internal records and balances.• Monitor and manage the AP Trade Clearing account to address discrepancies in received but not invoiced transactions.• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency by leveraging technology and improving processes.

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience; a high school diploma is the minimum requirement. • At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable is required, with additional experience in general accounting preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with chart of accounts and cost centers is essential. • Ability to adapt to changes, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of the organization. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
