We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, California. This is a long-term contract position within the wholesale distribution industry, offering the opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in full-cycle accounts payable processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle heavy data entry efficiently. Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing. • Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Enter high volumes of data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with internal departments to address invoice-related inquiries and support smooth operations. • Utilize Oracle software to manage accounts payable tasks and maintain accurate records. • Generate reports and assist with month-end accounts payable closing activities. • Maintain organized records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. • Support process improvements within the accounts payable department to enhance efficiency. • Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment-related issues and maintain positive relationships.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in Oracle software is highly preferred. • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with formulas and data analysis. • Ability to handle heavy data entry with accuracy and speed (Alpha 8,001-10,000 kph preferred). • Strong understanding of three-way matching and invoice reconciliation processes. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle high volumes of transactions. • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to resolve discrepancies effectively. • Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
