Controller
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of expertise in accounting operations and financial management, ensuring the smooth execution of key processes. This role requires a commitment of 5-6 hours per week and offers the flexibility to work remotely while maintaining availability during designated hours.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.<br>• Manage vendor payments and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.<br>• Supervise payroll processes to guarantee timely and accurate payments.<br>• Analyze and review cash flow to maintain financial stability.<br>• Provide guidance and support for document control tasks, including compiling and scanning financial records.<br>• Ensure proper management of scanned documents and maintain organized records.<br>• Collaborate with team members via Slack to address financial queries and provide updates.<br>• Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.<br>• Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency in financial operations.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.<br>• Strong understanding of operational accounting and payroll oversight.<br>• Expertise in document control, including scanning and organizing financial records.<br>• Ability to manage vendor payments and maintain accurate records.<br>• Excellent analytical skills to review cash flow and financial data.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members remotely.<br>• Availability to work 5-6 hours per week and respond promptly during designated hours.
