We are looking for an experienced Commercial Counsel to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide strategic legal guidance and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, technology, and procurement contracts. This position is fully remote and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review, draft, and negotiate diverse vendor and procurement contracts, including SaaS, technology, and detail-oriented services agreements.<br>• Provide guidance on data privacy and security matters in vendor engagements, including the negotiation of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and related clauses.<br>• Handle AI-related provisions in contracts, such as data licensing, model training rights, and regulatory compliance requirements.<br>• Offer practical and strategic legal advice to various internal teams with minimal onboarding time.<br>• Maintain organized contract documentation and contribute to the development of templates, playbooks, and contract management processes.<br>• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with operational objectives and company strategies.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.<br>• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in technology, SaaS, or fintech sectors.<br>• Proven expertise in negotiating vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).<br>• Strong familiarity with AI-related contract provisions, including data rights, use restrictions, and compliance with regulatory standards, is highly desirable.<br>• Solid understanding of privacy frameworks such as GDPR is a plus.<br>• Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.<br>• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing contract tools, templates, and playbooks.<br>• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
