We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to assist our client in San Francisco for a long-term contract position. This role is ideal for a finance expert who thrives on improving processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. You will play a key role in enhancing financial operations and implementing best practices across the organization. Responsibilities:• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Oversee improvements to the general ledger and accounts payable accrual processes.• Develop and implement efficient workflows and process enhancements to streamline operations.• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory standards.• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement audits.• Identify opportunities for automation and drive initiatives to modernize accounting practices.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish strong financial principles and practices.• Utilize Workday Financial Management to optimize financial operations and reporting.• Provide leadership in driving process changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.• Support the organization in achieving faster and more effective financial closes.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles. • Proven expertise in month-end close and general ledger processes. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory compliance standards. • Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial audits. • Familiarity with Workday Financial Management is highly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and build automation. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams.
