<p>Robert Half is assisting a client in the financial services industry in hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. If you’re looking to advance your career in a dynamic organization, this role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements</li><li>Perform account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger accounts.</li><li>Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy in reporting.</li><li>Prepare journal entries and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</li><li>Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Collaborate with management to establish financial strategies and analyze data for forecasting.</li><li>Assist with budget development and expense tracking.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors for audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.</li><li>Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and provide recommendations for corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local financial regulations.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.</li><li>CPA certification or progress toward certification strongly preferred.</li><li>5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role </li><li>Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar programs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros, and formulas).</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li></ul><p><br></p>
