<p>A well-established <strong>manufacturing and technology company in Carlsbad</strong> is looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Accountant</strong> to take ownership of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role is perfect for an analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. You’ll collaborate closely with operations and finance leadership to maintain accuracy and transparency in every financial process.</p><p><br></p><p>&#127775; <strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.</li><li>Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.</li><li>Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate cost allocations.</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.</li><li>Support internal and external audits.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).</li><li>5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.</li><li>Deep understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas).</li><li>ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar preferred).</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><br></p>
