Our client in the HVAC sector is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their growing team on a contract-to-permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger integrity</li><li>Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets</li><li>Process payroll and support payroll compliance as needed</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking</li><li>Maintain company records in accordance with industry and regulatory requirements</li><li>Coordinate with external accountants for tax and audit purposes</li></ul>

<ul><li>2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, preferably in a service industry</li><li>Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>Prior experience in the HVAC or construction fields</li><li>Associate degree or certification in accounting/bookkeeping</li></ul>
