Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving process improvements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on impactful financial initiatives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.<br>• Create, review, and approve journal entries, including those related to payroll and accruals.<br>• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and address reconciling items promptly.<br>• Support lease accounting processes, including calculations, schedules, and disclosures under ASC 842.<br>• Collaborate with auditors by providing required schedules and documentation.<br>• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.<br>• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced accounting staff, supporting their growth and development.<br>• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records and documentation.<br>• Uphold high standards of confidentiality and integrity in all accounting tasks.
