We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas, within the manufacturing industry. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the accurate management of promotional accounting and trade allowances. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of ensuring compliance with company policies while resolving discrepancies efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and administer trade allowances and promotional contracts to ensure timely and accurate processing.<br>• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and promotional deductions to maintain accurate records.<br>• Collaborate with sales associates, brokers, distributors, and customers to gather necessary documentation for payments and deductions.<br>• Enforce company policies related to trade spending and ensure adherence to established procedures.<br>• Track and collect unauthorized deductions or initiate write-offs in accordance with company policies.<br>• Research trade agreements to identify and correct errors impacting customer or product profitability.<br>• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of accounts receivable activities and ensure proper reconciliation.<br>• Support the accounting team with invoice processing and general ledger updates related to promotional payments.<br>• Conduct pricing analysis and ensure promotional pricing aligns with contractual agreements.<br>• Utilize accounting software and tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, to manage workflows effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; basic understanding of accounting principles at the college entry level.<br>• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable or promotional accounting.<br>• At least two years of experience working within the broker community is preferred.<br>• Familiarity with promotional accounting practices and trade agreements is a plus.<br>• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong technical skills.<br>• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<br>• Knowledge of general accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
