We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance department within a software automation company. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, including billing, reconciliations, and vendor bill management, while adhering to established standards and procedures. Responsibilities: • Prepare, review, and distribute accurate customer invoices in line with contractual agreements, addressing client inquiries in a timely manner. • Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts to identify and resolve any discrepancies. • Process and apply incoming payments to outstanding invoices to maintain accurate transaction records. • Review, organize, and process vendor bills, ensuring timely payments and compliance with company policies. • Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records that meet regulatory requirements and company standards. • Analyze financial data to detect and address anomalies or variances. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial transactions and reporting. • Support ongoing and ad-hoc accounting projects, including audits. • Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory. • 4-6 years of accounting experience, including expertise in billing, reconciliations, cash applications, and vendor bill processing. • Proficiency in accounting software, with preference given to candidates experienced in systems like NetSuite or QuickBooks. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency with pivot tables and formulas. • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet strict deadlines. • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations; experience in the technology or software industry is a plus.
