We are looking for a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring timely processing of payments. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions, including coding invoices and verifying accuracy. • Manage account coding to ensure proper allocation of expenses. • Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and maintain accurate records. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payment to vendors. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payment processes. • Maintain detailed records of financial transactions for auditing purposes. • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. • Assist with implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Strong understanding of account coding and invoice processing. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check run procedures. • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors. • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance standards.
