We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth management of client accounts and financial operations during a contract assignment covering a leave of absence. The position requires a commitment to excellence in financial oversight, client relations, and corporate reporting. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end financial processes, including reconciliation and preparation of financial statements. • Manage accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing. • Coordinate client budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering actionable insights. • Supervise and delegate property-related responsibilities among team members. • Lead the transition and onboarding of new assignments, including building and reviewing tenant databases. • Collaborate with clients and property management teams to define accounting service scopes. • Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards. • Develop and implement training programs for accounting staff to enhance performance and productivity. • Assist in preparing and filing compliance documentation, such as Form 1099s. • Monitor receivable reports and implement strategies to minimize exposure to bad debts.

• Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Demonstrated experience in financial statement audits and account reconciliation. • Expertise in journal entries and accounts payable functions. • Solid skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Proven ability to manage and supervise accounting teams effectively. • Excellent communication and client engagement skills. • Knowledge of compliance requirements, including vendor documentation and reporting. • Ability to work independently and adapt to both in-office and remote work environments.
