We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance within the drink and beverage industry. This role is ideal for an organized individual eager to contribute to process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate with global, commercial, and technical teams to gather requirements and define reporting expectations.<br>• Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.<br>• Monitor monthly financial cycles to align business expectations with accurate reporting.<br>• Oversee monthly budgets, estimates, accruals, deferrals, and related documentation.<br>• Collect feedback to drive continuous improvement of financial platforms.<br>• Lead process improvement initiatives and project teams for enhanced efficiency.<br>• Generate timely and precise reports, reconciliations, analyses, and budgetary support.<br>• Perform monthly variance analysis, including model and report evaluations.<br>• Develop and implement new processes and system requirements to optimize operations.<br>• Address discrepancies and resolve issues through corrective actions or escalations.

• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant accounting role.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.<br>• Strong understanding of financial processes, statements, and general accounting principles.<br>• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, QuickBooks, and invoice processing.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and minimal supervision.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
