We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, to oversee accounting and financial operations and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting practices and have ERP implementation experience. Responsibilities:• Oversee month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.• Manage general ledger activities and ensure proper reconciliation.• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with auditing standards.• Conduct variance analyses to identify trends and discrepancies.• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain compliance documentation.• Forecast cash flow needs and oversee cash management processes.• Assist with the post implementation of organizational financial systems.• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits.• Generate and post journal entries to maintain accurate records.• Provide support for financial reporting and analysis efforts.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.• In-depth knowledge of general ledger management and reconciliation.• Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance standards.• Strong analytical skills for performing variance analysis.• Experience with cash management and forecasting strategies.• Proficiency in creating and posting journal entries.• Ability to assist with the implementation of financial systems.• Excellent organizational and communication skills.• PDI Enterprise Solutions, experience with multiple ERPs
