Controller
<p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Riverside, California. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and asset management, along with a strong ability to analyze data and improve operational efficiency. Please call Brigitte Mendez @ 909-717-4037 if interested or call your Robert Half Recruiter directly.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the preparation and review of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.</p><p>• Manage the general ledger system, including entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.</p><p>• Monitor and calculate fixed asset depreciation on a monthly and annual basis.</p><p>• Develop and maintain annual standard cost models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.</p><p>• Utilize advanced Excel formulas and tools to analyze financial data and generate reports.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to compile and organize documents for audit and compliance purposes.</p><p>• Implement and maintain efficient document control processes, including scanning and archiving.</p><p>• Provide guidance and support in the use of Sage Timberline software for financial operations.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar accounting role.<br>• Proficiency in managing general ledger systems and preparing financial statements.<br>• Strong knowledge of fixed asset depreciation and cost modeling.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.<br>• Familiarity with Sage Timberline software or similar accounting platforms.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with experience in document control and scanning.<br>• Ability to identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
