We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Richardson, Texas. This role is essential in supporting corporate accounting operations, including year-end close processes, audit preparation, and system enhancements. The position offers the opportunity to refine financial workflows and contribute to the accuracy of reporting and the strength of internal controls within a dynamic, multi-entity environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and record consolidated journal entries to support monthly close processes.<br>• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances to ensure accuracy.<br>• Investigate and resolve historical accounting discrepancies and cleanup tasks.<br>• Manage and update schedules for prepaid expenses, accruals, cash applications, and fixed assets.<br>• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate and complete financial documentation.<br>• Implement process improvements to optimize and shorten the financial close cycle.<br>• Participate in system upgrades and automation projects to enhance operational efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to address financial reporting needs.<br>• Provide insightful financial analysis to support operations across multiple locations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br>• At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of public and corporate accounting preferred.<br>• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and reconciliation processes.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and lookups.<br>• Familiarity with large ERP systems, such as Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.<br>• Experience with consolidation or close management tools like BlackLine or OneStream is a plus.<br>• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling complex tasks.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
