We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in the dynamic Real Estate & Property industry, contributing to essential accounting functions. This is a 2-3 month contract position. 100% ONSITE 5 days a week in Richardson, Texas. This has contract position has potential to be contract-to-hire scenario. Interim Senior Accountant (contract position):Responsibilities:• Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reconciled.• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring entries comply with accounting principles.• Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.• Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure cash balances align with records.• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review.• Reconcile balance sheets and ensure all accounts are properly documented.• Utilize accounting software such as D365, BlackLine, or OneStream to streamline financial processes.• Apply advanced Excel formulas to analyze financial data effectively.• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Proficiency in managing general ledger and preparing journal entries. • Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with accounting software such as D365, BlackLine, and OneStream. • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Experience in the Real Estate & Property industry is a plus. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
