We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and extensive experience in general accounting and financial processes. Based in Dallas, Texas, this position will play a key role in supporting year-end accounting activities. Responsibilities: • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Manage and maintain the general ledger, recording all financial transactions appropriately. • Prepare and post journal entries to support financial reporting and compliance. • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Handle bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation. • Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and reports. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and resolving queries.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. • Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance. • Strong ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately. • Expertise in performing account and bank reconciliations. • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and principles. • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. • Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting. • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
