We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Ramsey, New Jersey. This contract position offers a great opportunity to develop foundational skills in corporate accounting while contributing to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and attention to detail to daily accounting tasks, supporting various aspects of accounts management and reconciliation. Responsibilities: • Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Assist in preparing and reconciling bank statements to maintain accurate financial records. • Handle account reconciliation tasks, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Support the preparation and posting of accounting entries into financial systems. • Utilize basic Excel skills to organize and analyze financial data effectively. • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth corporate collections processes. • Maintain compliance with company financial procedures and standards. • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in accounting workflows. • Participate in weekly reporting and provide updates to management on accounts status. • Contribute to month-end closing activities and assist with financial reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Strong proficiency in basic Excel functions for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Understanding of bank and account reconciliation procedures. • Ability to post accurate accounting entries in financial systems. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. • Eagerness to learn and grow within a corporate accounting environment.
