<p>Cutting Edge client is looking to staff a Controller with proven leadership skills while working in a thriving company. The Controller will be responsible for ensuring compliance within the manufacturing sector, overseeing cost accounting, consolidations, financial reporting, budgeting, general ledger responsibilities, assisting with payroll tax processing, creating financial forecasting coordinating month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, and implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets. The ideal individual for this role must be a people leader, drive process improvements & ERP system enhancements, have experience with hazardous material cost tracking and compliance reporting.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Major Responsibilities</p><p>·      Review and manage accounting operations</p><p>·      Oversee the month end close process</p><p>·      Develop financial strategies</p><p>·      Expense Variance Review</p><p>·      Prepare financial statements and reports</p><p>·      Account Reconciliations </p><p>·      Consolidate financial data</p><p>·      Internal Control Monitoring</p><p>·      Assist with internal/external audit preparation</p><p>·      Coach, Train, Mentor financial staff</p>

<p>The ideal Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.</p><p><br></p><p>Other requirements for the Controller role include and are not limited to:</p><p>·      10+ years of strong Month End Close and Financial Reporting experience</p><p>·      CPA highly preferred</p><p>·      Document Control</p><p>·      Experience with consolidations, international accounting, and FP& A</p><p>·      Strong communication and analytical skills</p><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Mahil Santram via LinkedIn if interested in this role.</p>
