Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accounting Operations: Manage all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.</li><li>Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.</li><li>Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, for management review.</li><li>Payroll Processing: Oversee and process payroll, ensuring accurate employee payments and deductions, and compliance with legal requirements.</li><li>Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales tax and other tax-related documents as required by local/state regulations.</li><li>Cost Accounting: Support accurate tracking of costs and inventory management to align with manufacturing industry practices.</li><li>Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing detailed reports and financial data when required.</li><li>Budget Assistance: Monitor company budgets and assist in analyzing variances between actual and forecasted results.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Collaborate with department managers to ensure financial accuracy and provide insights on financial status.</li></ul>

Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience in bookkeeping will be considered).</li><li>Experience: At least 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage). Advanced Excel skills are a plus (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).</li><li>Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing accounting, including cost accounting and inventory management, is a strong advantage.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and organization when managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.</li><li>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.</li><li>Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of GAAP and tax requirements applicable to the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently and effectively.</li></ul>
