Remote PA/NJ Litigation Partner / Associate Attorney Regional Law Firm - $150-190/200k+/year plus benefitsFull Time / Direct-Hire (Permanent) position via an AgencyPractice area: General Liability, Insurance Defense *Must be barred in PA & NJ and reside in either state We are looking for a skilled Insurance Defense General Liability Attorney to join our client's thriving legal team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with law firm offices all over regionally, as a remote candidate from PA or New Jersey. This remote role offers lawyers the opportunity to handle diverse general liability cases, including insurance defense litigation, while collaborating with a dynamic and inclusive team. The ideal candidate will be an associate, of counsel, senior counsel, or partner with strong analytical skills, courtroom expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to take over a book of business from other partners. Responsibilities:• Evaluate and address complex legal issues by providing clients with thorough and strategic recommendations.• Prepare and file pleadings, respond to discovery requests, and manage depositions effectively.• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations, ensuring compliance with all deadlines.• Engage in clear and detail-oriented communication with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and courts.• Perform legal research to support case strategies and arguments.• Travel locally for court appearances, client meetings, and case-related activities.• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in defense litigation, specifically insurance defense. • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Active bar licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. • Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and manage depositions. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Willingness to travel locally for case-related activities. • Experience in liability defense, with preferred expertise in motor vehicle and premises liability. • For partner-level candidates, significant trial experience is highly desirable.
