Public Finance Paralegal
<p>Our client, a respected law firm with a strong Public Finance practice, is seeking an experienced <strong>Public Finance Paralegal</strong> to support a team of attorneys on complex municipal finance and bond transactions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced transactional environment and enjoys taking ownership of deals from start to finish.</p><p><br></p><p>Interested candidates that have Finance experience with major law firms should reach out directly to Kevin Ross with Robert Half in Philadelphia for immediate consideration and submission. </p><p><br></p><p>This role is hybrid in office 3 days at first and can move down to 2 days a week in office once acclimated. </p><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Draft and review a variety of transactional legal documents.</li><li>Prepare initial drafts of bond resolutions, offering statements, closing documents, and manage document distributions.</li><li>Conduct legal research related to public finance, municipal bonds, and state/local regulations.</li><li>Gather, analyze, and organize due diligence materials for public finance transactions.</li><li>Coordinate closing logistics, including signature packages, closing sets, and final binders.</li><li>Assist with compliance matters involving federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.</li><li>Prepare state and federal tax filings and UCC documentation related to financing transactions.</li><li>Maintain organized transaction files, databases, and correspondence.</li><li>Communicate with clients, underwriters, and deal participants to collect information and provide updates.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of public finance paralegal experience</strong>, ideally involving municipal bonds and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Experience with Pennsylvania LGUDA filings (debt statements, borrowing base certificates) is a strong plus.</li><li>Strong research skills and proficiency with legal research tools.</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and document-drafting skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume, time-sensitive transaction environment.</li><li>High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal document management systems.</li></ul><p><br></p>
