Commercial Contract Attorney
<p>We are looking for an experienced Commercial Contract Attorney to join our team in Oak Brook, Illinois. In this role, you will focus on drafting and negotiating vendor agreements and other commercial contracts within the real estate industry. As this is a long-term contract position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our corporate team, contributing to critical legal matters involving property transactions and management agreements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, with a primary focus on vendor agreements.</p><p>• Handle legal matters related to real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing contracts, and property management agreements.</p><p>• Develop service contracts and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.</p><p>• Collaborate closely with the corporate team to address legal concerns and provide expert guidance.</p><p>• Conduct legal research and provide clear advice on real estate and commercial matters.</p><p>• Review and analyze legal documents to identify and mitigate risks.</p><p>• Manage and oversee civil litigation processes, including briefing and drafting motions.</p><p>• Ensure proper handling of discovery procedures and document preparation.</p><p>• Work exclusively for the corporate entity, managing legal needs without involvement in subsidiary matters.</p><p>• Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to address legal challenges effectively.</p><p><br></p><p>The pay range for this position is 61.75 to 71.50. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. • Must hold a valid attorney license.<br>• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate and commercial real estate.<br>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefing, and civil litigation procedures.<br>• Strong knowledge of vendor agreements, service contracts, and other commercial contracts.<br>• Expertise in real estate agreements, including purchase and sale, leasing, and property management.<br>• Familiarity with discovery processes and document preparation.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with corporate teams.
