Legal Secretary
<p>We are looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team in Nottingham, Maryland on a contract basis. This position requires attention to detail and expertise in legal documentation to support time-sensitive client needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of litigation processes. This is a short-term role to assist with discovery. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and complete discovery responses, including answers to interrogatories and responses to requests for production of documents.</p><p>• Coordinate and manage the filing of court documents to ensure compliance with deadlines and regulations.</p><p>• Draft, edit, and review legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p>• Support litigation efforts by organizing case files and maintaining accurate records.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients to clarify requirements and provide updates.</p><p>• Prioritize and manage multiple client cases simultaneously to meet time-sensitive deadlines.</p><p>• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with professionalism.</p><p>• Conduct research to gather relevant information for case preparation.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth progression of legal proceedings.</p>
• Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role in a legal setting.<br>• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documentation.<br>• Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures.<br>• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information responsibly.<br>• Knowledge of court filings and legal terminology.
