CFO - Chief Financial Officer
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team on a contract basis in Newark, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can oversee financial operations, manage capital resources, and ensure accurate reporting. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the organization while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct comprehensive cash flow analysis to ensure efficient liquidity management.<br>• Oversee capital management strategies to optimize investment opportunities and resource allocation.<br>• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.<br>• Evaluate and implement improvements to business systems for enhanced operational efficiency.<br>• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.<br>• Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial goals with organizational objectives.<br>• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards across all reporting activities.<br>• Monitor and forecast financial performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.<br>• Develop and implement strategies to improve cost management and overall profitability.<br>• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve excellence in financial practices.
• Proven experience in a CFO or senior financial leadership role.<br>• Expertise in cash flow analysis and capital management strategies.<br>• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and financial reporting.<br>• Familiarity with business systems and their role in financial operations.<br>• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.<br>• Effective communication and presentation abilities for engaging with stakeholders.<br>• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.<br>• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and mentorship.
