We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team in New York, New York, and take on challenging litigation cases across various practice areas. As part of a nationally recognized law firm, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced colleagues while delivering high-quality legal services to our local and national clients. The ideal candidate is motivated, attentive to detail, and eager to contribute to complex civil litigation matters.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage a litigation caseload independently, ensuring deadlines and court requirements are met.<br>• Conduct depositions, including preparing witnesses for deposition and trial.<br>• Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions with precision and clarity.<br>• Analyze discovery materials and provide strategic recommendations to support case objectives.<br>• Prepare trial materials and offer support during trial proceedings.<br>• Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes.<br>• Maintain organized and accurate time records for billing purposes.<br>• Research legal precedents and draft high-quality legal documents to support case strategy.<br>• Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced team members when needed.<br>• Ensure compliance with all ethical standards in legal practice.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.<br>• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance defense, general liability, or toxic tort litigation.<br>• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.<br>• Proficiency in motion practice and conducting depositions.<br>• Demonstrated ability to lead plaintiff and expert depositions.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.<br>• Excellent research and writing capabilities.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze complex legal matters effectively.
