Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in New Milford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be responsible for representing our services at various events, ensuring attendees have a positive and informative experience. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Represent the organization at events, webinars, and benefits fairs, sharing information about available services.<br>• Deliver concise and engaging presentations to attendees while maintaining a detail-oriented and approachable demeanor.<br>• Prepare for events by reviewing training materials and familiarizing yourself with the organization’s offerings and event-specific details.<br>• Arrive 30 minutes early to set up event materials and ensure the display is welcoming and organized.<br>• Interact with attendees, answering questions and providing high-level information about services and programs.<br>• Encourage attendees to register on the organization’s website and distribute promotional materials and giveaways.<br>• Stand and engage with event participants for extended periods, ensuring a warm and informative experience.<br>• Provide post-event feedback on the training, event experience, and any challenges encountered.<br>• Work collaboratively with other representatives to ensure a smooth and successful event.<br>• Maintain a detail-oriented appearance in business casual attire, adhering to dress code guidelines.
• Proven experience in customer service or event representation roles.<br>• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.<br>• Friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.<br>• Ability to stand and remain active for long periods during events.<br>• Strong organizational skills to prepare for and manage event responsibilities.<br>• Comfort with delivering repetitive information to multiple individuals in a consistent manner.<br>• Ability to adapt to fast-paced event environments and handle multiple interactions efficiently.<br>• Reliable and punctual with a focus on providing a high-quality experience for attendees.
