Please send your resume to Stacey Lyons via LinkedIn for IMMEDITAE consideration!</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Collaborate with partners and team members on business restructuring, insolvency, and litigation cases.</p><p>• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other court documents.</p><p>• Represent clients in court proceedings, including contested hearings and depositions.</p><p>• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and work quality remains high.</p><p>• Take initiative in leading aspects of complex cases, contributing to strategy development and case resolution.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and advice tailored to their needs.</p><p>• Participate in trial teams, contributing to case preparation and courtroom advocacy.</p><p>• Maintain strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Stay updated on bankruptcy and litigation laws to ensure compliance and provide informed counsel.</p><p>• Mentor associates at the beginning of their careers and contribute to the collaborative team environment.</p>

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bankruptcy/reorganization or complex commercial litigation.<br>• Strong understanding of bankruptcy and reorganization laws, with a willingness to learn if lacking direct experience.<br>• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.<br>• Prior experience appearing in court, handling contested hearings, or taking and defending depositions is preferred.<br>• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.<br>• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and colleague interactions.<br>• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
