Sr. Accountant
<p>Looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant for contract in Meridian, Idaho. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in financial operations, payroll processing, and account management within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting processes while maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and monitor accounts receivable invoices related to cooperative agreements and service acquisitions.</p><p>• Reconcile federal timesheets and create corresponding general ledger entries.</p><p>• Handle bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.</p><p>• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, maintaining compliance with organizational policies.</p><p>• Manage Workers Compensation and coordinate administrative tasks for new hires.</p><p>• Support year-end payroll reporting and assist in preparing for annual audits.</p><p>• Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and provide thorough resolutions.</p><p>• Oversee benefit-provider relationships and interpret handbook policies to recommend solutions.</p><p>• Monitor daily banking activities and manage cash flow between operating accounts and external contractors.</p><p>• Generate month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial reports, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.</p>
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and balance sheet management.<br>• Proficiency in handling bank reconciliations and journal entries.<br>• Experience working with general ledger and month-end close processes.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.<br>• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and ADP payroll systems.<br>• Proven ability to manage payroll processes with accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle customer inquiries and audit preparations.<br>• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and dependably.
