We are helping our client who is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in corporate accounting and financial analysis. You will play a key role in managing essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the organization's financial goals. Responsibilities:• Oversee and execute month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to uphold compliance and transparency.• Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail.• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy.• Manage intercompany transactions and accounts, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including annual and cash flow forecasts.• Analyze corporate real estate financials and provide relevant insights.• Support financial audits and implement best practices for internal controls.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and reporting.• Provide detailed financial reports and recommendations to senior management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or related field. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Strong expertise in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations. • Experience handling intercompany transactions and accounts. • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Knowledge of corporate real estate accounting is a plus. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
