This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for a mid-to-large-sized workforce.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees on a bi-weekly basis.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.</li><li>Manage payroll tax filings, garnishments, and deductions.</li><li>Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Lead or support payroll system audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data and ensure data integrity.</li><li>Provide reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a payroll leadership or management role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paylocity, or similar).</li><li>Experience with multi-state payroll and tax compliance.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in the services industry.</li><li>CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification.</li><li>Familiarity with payroll integrations with HRIS and accounting systems.</li></ul><p><br></p>
