Responsibilities:• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, approval tracking, and payment processing.• Reconcile accounts payable and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.• Perform credit card reconciliations and ensure all transactions are supported with proper documentation.• Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and aligning records with the general ledger.• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address invoicing and payment issues efficiently.• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all accounts payable transactions.• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with internal controls.• Contribute to the overall accounting operations by assisting with accounts receivable and bank reconciliations as needed.• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and uphold company policies during all accounting processes.• Provide insights and recommendations to streamline accounts payable workflows. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, general ledger, or related accounting functions. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Strong understanding of general ledger principles, journal entries, and month-end close processes. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams. • Experience with accounts receivable and bank reconciliations is a plus. • Ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
