In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding the financial health and sustainability of our organization. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support the organization's revenue growth and long-term sustainability. • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and ensure their accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. • Monitor and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and cash flow reports to maintain financial accuracy and integrity. • Lead the preparation, implementation, and tracking of the annual budget while providing regular updates on financial performance. • Serve as a key advisor to leadership, offering insights and recommendations on financial and business strategies. • Ensure the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems, policies, and internal controls to meet organizational needs. • Manage treasury functions, including cash management and safeguarding financial assets, while serving as a liaison to financial institutions. • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards. • Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to achieve departmental goals. • Oversee risk management programs, implement controls to minimize liabilities, and maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related study • 3+ years of Non-Profit leadership experience • Proven expertise in nonprofit financial management, including fund and grant accounting.• Strong skills in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.• Experience with auditing processes and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.• Proficiency in using accounting systems and tools for financial management and reporting.• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing a team.• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data to inform strategic decisions.• Familiarity with risk management practices and insurance program administration.• Commitment to the organization's mission, vision, and values, with a passion for making a positive impact.
