Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role, based in Los Angeles, California, is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and financial reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports with precision and attention to detail.<br>• Handle check deposits and payment requests to maintain smooth financial transactions.<br>• Track and reconcile budget account expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.<br>• Perform various accounts payable tasks as required to support departmental operations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.<br>• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.<br>• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.<br>• Provide support during audits and financial reviews as needed.<br>• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address payment-related inquiries.<br>• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Proficiency in financial reconciliation and expense tracking.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.<br>• Familiarity with financial software and tools.<br>• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial operations.<br>• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
