We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a remote contract opportunity. This position involves managing reconciliations, primarily focusing on accounts receivable, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have intermediate Excel skills and experience working in the advertising industry. Responsibilities:• Perform detailed reconciliations of client statements, particularly focusing on accounts receivable.• Manage and resolve discrepancies between incoming payments and vendor payouts.• Utilize intermediate Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze financial data.• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial transactions.• Work with NetSuite or Oracle Fusion systems to maintain and update financial records.• Support the preparation of general ledger entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards.• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.• Assist in quarterly financial reviews and provide insights to improve processes.• Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reviews.• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while handling financial data.

• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable and reconciliations. • Proficiency in intermediate Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. • Familiarity with NetSuite or Oracle Fusion systems is highly preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial data. • Prior experience in the advertising industry is advantageous. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of general ledger processes and accounting principles.
