Senior Experience Consultant
We are looking for an experienced User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our team on a contract basis in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will be tasked with assessing and refining the broker and sales experience within the healthcare industry. Your expertise will help uncover pain points, analyze data, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve operational workflows. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Medicare or health plan operations and a proven ability to lead structured discovery processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct comprehensive research to analyze the broker and sales experience, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.<br>• Facilitate interviews and discovery sessions with brokers, sales teams, and call center staff to gather qualitative insights.<br>• Develop and refine service blueprints and process flows to illustrate current workflows and propose enhancements.<br>• Collaborate with analytics teams to review call center data, broker feedback, performance metrics, and trends, synthesizing findings into actionable insights.<br>• Benchmark competitor practices and industry standards to inform strategic recommendations.<br>• Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to present findings, identify gaps, and prioritize improvement initiatives.<br>• Apply design thinking methodologies, including the Double Diamond framework, to structure research and solution development.<br>• Document and communicate research outcomes effectively, adapting insights as new data emerges.<br>• Support the creation of an enhancement roadmap by facilitating discussions on process gaps and technology challenges.<br>• Ensure alignment with stakeholders through regular updates and review sessions.
• Extensive experience in Medicare, healthcare, or health plan workflows.<br>• Strong proficiency in creating service blueprints and process flow diagrams.<br>• Skilled in qualitative research methods, including ethnographic interviewing.<br>• Capable of applying design thinking methodologies to uncover and address operational gaps.<br>• Proven ability to lead programs from initial discovery through to implementation.<br>• Experience facilitating collaborative sessions and gathering actionable feedback from cross-functional teams.<br>• Familiarity with tools such as Mural and PowerPoint for effective visual communication.<br>• Background in working directly with brokers, sales teams, or service operations.
