We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager IT to join our team in Southern California. This role requires a strategic mindset and a strong ability to manage complex IT projects that involve cross-functional teams and high-impact initiatives. As this is a long-term contract position, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in project management methodologies. This role will be onsite 4 days per week. Responsibilities:• Define and implement project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and compliance with quality standards.• Develop detailed project plans, assign tasks to team members, and monitor daily progress to achieve milestones.• Identify resource requirements, perform quality reviews, and address timeline or functional issues as they arise.• Lead communication efforts across enterprise-wide teams to manage scope, budget, risks, and resources effectively.• Oversee multiple cross-functional projects with varying degrees of complexity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.• Track and report key project milestones, making adjustments to plans or resources as necessary.• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.• Manage budgets for medium to large-scale projects and ensure financial accountability.• Ensure collaboration and teamwork across departments to achieve project objectives.• Monitor resource utilization and quality standards to deliver successful project outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail. • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT projects. • Certification in Project Management or completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred. • Proven ability to manage large, complex, and strategic projects with significant organizational impact. • Advanced knowledge of budgeting processes and resource allocation for programs and projects. • Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation planning for comprehensive project management. • Strong understanding of various project management disciplines and methodologies. • Automotive industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
