Customer Liaison Officer
<p>We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Customer Service Liaison to join our team in Linden, New Jersey. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to supply chain operations, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the oil and gas industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Serve as the central contact for customer queries, addressing concerns related to shipment status, documentation, and complex order management.</p><p>• Collaborate with operations teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.</p><p>• Manage invoicing processes, including handling exceptions such as letters of credit preparation.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, identifying process inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement.</p><p>• Conduct root cause analyses to enhance operational efficiency and optimize workflows.</p><p>• Participate in customer visits alongside sales teams to strengthen relationships and improve service levels.</p><p>• Contribute to ongoing improvement projects by sharing expertise and gaining broader knowledge within the organization.</p><p>• Analyze data using tools to identify trends and support process optimization.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with safety standards while fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.</p>
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.<br>• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including guidelines and Incoterms.<br>• Previous experience in the oil and gas or chemicals industry, particularly in joint venture reporting.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to structure concise and effective messaging.<br>• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet customer commitments.<br>• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities, with a focus on delivering results.<br>• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, customers, and suppliers from diverse cultural backgrounds.<br>• Commitment to maintaining and promoting safety standards within the workplace.
