We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Liberty Lake, Washington. This role involves managing essential accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting key processes such as reconciliations and journal entries. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong background in accounting, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.<br>• Manage the month-end close process, including reconciling accounts and verifying ledger balances.<br>• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.<br>• Analyze general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial data effectively.<br>• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations.

<p>• Strong experience in managing month-end close processes.</p><p>• Proficiency in handling general ledger accounting and journal entries.</p><p>• Must have cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed account and bank reconciliations.</p><p>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p>
