Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. As part of our non-profit organization, you will play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting collaborative agreements with community partners and funders. This position requires a high level of precision and the ability to identify and address potential risks effectively. Responsibilities:• Prepare, review, and finalize contractual agreements, leases, and memorandums of understanding with stakeholders.• Manage payment processes related to agreements and financial obligations.• Ensure compliance with fiscal policies and regulations while identifying and mitigating risks.• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to maintain accurate financial records.• Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms and tools such as ADP and Concur, to streamline processes.• Conduct regular audits and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure financial integrity.• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support organizational financial goals.• Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to aid decision-making.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices and standards.• Assist in implementing best practices for efficient financial workflows.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms and tools such as ADP and Concur. • Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Experience in auditing and reconciling balance sheet accounts. • Familiarity with contractual agreements and financial compliance protocols. • Ability to analyze and mitigate risks effectively within financial operations. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders. • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
